Eight times his charges have been awarded the award for number one Toy Dog, and many times they have been ranked in the top ten all breeds. In 1987 Coral Gable was the group winner at Westminster followed by Damien Gable, his son winning in 1993 and 1994. In 2005 Ch. Yakee If Only “’Jeffrey” also won the group at Westminster, he went on to become the number one dog all breeds. This same year Jeffrey broke the longstanding record of Ch. Malachy was the winner of BIS at Morris & Essex in 2010 under Mr. Robert S. Forsyth at his final assignment. Ch. Pequest General Tso did a lot of fine winning in 2015. He was the Best of Breed winner at the Pekingese Club of America’s National Specialty, as well as, Best In Show at Morris & Essex Kennel Club.

2019 started as a quiet year showing Ch. Pequest Wasabi, a bit as a youngster. In November he won his first BIS under Dinky Santos from the Philippines. His next shows were the Orlando show and the AKC National where he won Best in Show. Wasabi stands alone in history as the first Toy dog and the youngest dog to have won this prestigious title. Ms. Dorothy Collier was the judge.
